Biography
Rakhi Jayesh Sodha (born 24 May 1975, Mumbai) is a business women, insurance professional, and corporate director known for her unwavering support in nurturing family-led business ventures and fostering a collaborative work culture. Combining commercial education with practical business experience, she has played an instrumental role in supporting entrepreneurial initiatives across insurance, financial services, technology, and innovation-driven enterprises.
Born and raised in Mumbai, Rakhi graduated with a degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai in 1996. Following her education, she ventured into entrepreneurship through a small-scale imitation jewellery business, gaining valuable experience in customer relations, marketing, and business operations.
In 2007–08, she entered the financial services sector by joining Reliance Life Insurance Company Ltd. as an Insurance Officer, where she was responsible for supporting insurance sales operations and backend policy administration. Her dedication to the insurance profession led her to obtain certification from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA), enabling her to work as an independent insurance advisor.
Thereafter, she represented leading insurance companies including Bajaj Allianz, Aviva Life Insurance, and Religare Health Insurance under her proprietary insurance services initiative, “Tri-Insurance.” Through this venture, she assisted individuals and families in securing appropriate life and health insurance solutions while building trusted customer relationships.
Alongside her professional engagements, Rakhi has remained a strong pillar behind her family's entrepreneurial journey. She actively supported the development and operations of MarketPower.in India Inc., a fintech and business networking initiative founded by her husband, entrepreneur Jayesh Sodha. Her contribution continued until the Covid-19 period, after which she focused her efforts on supporting emerging technology ventures spearheaded by her son, Dr. Swayam Sodha, a young innovator and entrepreneur.
Currently, Rakhi serves as a Director of Quantumezon Global Pvt. Ltd., a technology-focused company engaged in deep-tech education, innovation, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, research, and startup ecosystem development. In her leadership role, she contributes to organizational governance, strategic support, and operational guidance.
Widely appreciated for her compassionate nature and collaborative mindset, Rakhi is often described as the invisible force behind many family-led initiatives.
